| Profile | The only native Papuan in President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's Cabinet, Freddy was born in Serui on 15th October 1947. He served as Papua governor from 2001 to 2003 after retiring from the Navy as a rear admiral. Numberi was the state minister for state administrative reforms under the Abdurrahman Wahid administration and at the time of his appointment was the Ambassador to Italy and the republic of Malta. | |
