Melway ref:- 2B F10 Denise became a pro life activist when nursing in England and witnessing the passage of the 1967 Abortion Act. Her training as a midwife in large public hospitals and ten years experience working in a women's prison exposed her to the "hard cases" in the abortion debate - from both the obstetric and social perspectives. Her work in a women's prison reinforced Denise's commitment to defending both mother and child. This talk offers the opportunity of hearing about what good can come out of adversity.
