Talk: Labor Splits: Past and Present

Dear PWHCE reader in Melbourne Australia,

You are cordially invited to a talk to be given by Mr. Robert Murray, entitled, "Labor Splits: Past and Present." Mr. Murray is a freelance writer, journalist and author of "The Split: Australian Labor in the Fifties."

Mr. Murray's talk will be held at a new venue

    at 6:30 PM on Wednesday the 23rd of July, 2003
    at Bells Hotel and Brewery
      157 Moray Street South Melbourne
      (Corner of Coventry Rd)
      Melways Ref: 2K E1
Mr. Murray's talk, "Labor Splits: Past and Present" still has relevance in the context of the recent ructions in the ALP. There will be ample opportunity to ask Mr. Murray questions at the end of his talk.

The hotel management would be appreciative if guests availed themselves of the opportunity to purchase a meal and/or drinks at the bar between 6:30 pm and 7:00pm. The talk will commence at 7:30 PM in the upstairs function room.
